The Girls Tennis team beat Shepherd Hill yesterday 5-0 with victories by Grace Bennett at 1st singles, Aizhan Moore at 2nd singles, Ree Luddie at 3rd singles, Frances Kim and Camilla Puzio at 1st doubles, and Katy Skagerlind and Spencer Cruz-Brown at 2nd doubles. Their next match is today against Nashoba.

The Boys Tennis team also had a victory over Shepherd Hill yesterday with a score of 5-0.

Seniors, please be sure to update your Naviance accounts with your post-graduate plans and college data. Also, please make sure to pay your transcript fee ($10 check or money-order made payable to WRSD). 

TODAY is the last day for Seniors to purchase prom tickets, either before or after school in room C206. Tickets will not be sold during the school day. The cost is $40.00 per ticket. Seniors bringing an outside date must submit a permission form and photocopy of the person's ID.

Seniors are reminded that they should be taking time to clean out their lockers. Please dispose of trash in the barrels provided. Any items left in the lockers after May 31st will be discarded or donated to charity.

Are you emptying out your dressers for the spring season and finding clothes that you’ll never wear again? Junior Emma Friend is keeping a donation bin next to the main office that will accept clothing of any size. The donated clothing will be sent out to Cradles to Crayons, Big Brother Big Sister, and Red Cross. Make more room in your dressers while also helping people in need. Donations will be held now through May 24th. Let’s help save the world!

Come and support the Wachusett Food Pantry by walking or running a 5k here at the high school cross-country course this Sunday, May 19th from 2 to 4:30pm. Feel free to bring friends and family. Admission is $12 for Wachusett students, $10 for children under 13, and $15 for other guests. You can get $3 off if you bring canned goods or personal care items. If you’re unable to come but still want to show your support, there will be a donation jar in the main office.

It is the end of the school year for the seniors. Health Records will be distributed to seniors on Thursday, May 23rd at the class meeting. Students' immunization records will be included. Medications that are not controlled, such as EpiPens, inhalers, and/or diabetic supplies, may be picked up by the student in the health office. Any controlled medications, such as ADHD medications, must be picked up by an adult. Medications not picked up by 12pm on the last day of school, Friday June 14th, will be disposed of.

The next MCAS Math help sessions for sophomores will be held again Tuesday in rooms C019 and E109. Snacks will be provided! More information can be found on the WRHS MCAS web page.

Extra help sessions for Science & Engineering, Physics and Biology MCAS exams will be held Tuesday in room D115 & D108. Additional dates and times can be found on the WRHS MCAS web page.

For all those students interested in being CITs at this year's SPeC program, applications are due TODAY. All applications must be passed in directly to Mr. Guerin in person in D204. Any student needing a copy of the application may see their science teacher or Mr. Guerin or Mr. Cranson for a copy. 

The MCAS Math test will take place next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Room assignments are now posted. Sophomores should check their room assignments because many rooms have changed. Sophomores should also make sure that their Chromebooks are in good condition and fully charged for next week's test.

TGAL Members! Come to our meeting on Monday to wish our seniors well and plan for our attack on the Mile a Minute vines! All are welcome! Come help us save the planet during the 2019-2020 school year!

Anime Club will have its end of the year party after school Monday in room C108. Please remember to bring snacks!

The Gay Straight Alliance will meet after school today in the media center from 2:20 to 3:20. Come and discuss the Lavender Scare with guest speaker Mr. Jourdain. Snacks will be provided, and all are welcome to attend!

The Driver Ed class for the May/June session runs May 6th – June 11th after school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 2:30pm to 4:45pm in room C117. The Parent Meeting will be Monday May 6th 6:30-8:30pm in H103/105. The Accelerated Class will run August 5th-9th 8:30am to 3:00pm
