Important Information For Returning Students

Reporting Student Absences:

All student absences must be verified by a parent or guardian. If a student will be absent, the parent should call 508-829-6771 ext. 5070 and report/verify the student's absence.

Dismissal Policy:

Students to be dismissed must bring a note, signed by a parent/guardian, to the Upper School office before 8 a.m. on the day they are to be dismissed. No phone dismissals are allowed. Students may not be dismissed during a long block except for a documented medical or legal appointment. The class administrator must approve all long-block dismissals.

Class Dues:

Every student is responsible for class dues. Class dues fund some of the graduation expenses, as well as help, defray the cost of other senior activities as well as future alumni events. Class dues are $100 for all students present during their senior year. All students, whether participating in senior activities or not, are responsible for dues.

It is recommended that students pay dues in yearly installments or in advance so as not to increase the financial burden at the end of senior year. Checks should be made payable to

WRSD and payments can be dropped off to Karen Lapierre in B201. For information on class dues or to find out how much dues your child owes, contact the advisor in charge, Ms. Lindsey Thunberg at [email protected]

Student Parking

Student parking permits will be issued to SENIORS ONLY.  At this time Juniors are not eligible for yearlong parking passes.  Grade 10 students will not be eligible at any time for a parking pass.

All Seniors in good standing who submit a completed application will receive a parking permit. Any Senior who wishes to park on campus must complete a new parking application and provide the required documents.  Any information submitted last year is invalid and new paperwork must be submitted

This senior privilege is for Seniors who have study periods in the beginning and/or end of the school day.  Because of the WRHS rotating schedule, the student's eligible days will change. The application must be completed and submitted to the Main Office, Upper School Office, or student's study hall monitor.

Clubs and Activities

WRHS offers many extracurricular activities for students. Students can find a complete list of  the clubs and activities page under the For Students tab of the WRHS website.  If a student wishes to form a new club, the student must download the Application to Form a Club, fill it out and bring it to the main office.

Classroom Learning Assistants

The CLA program places Upper School students in Lower School classrooms to assist teachers and students. An overview of the program is available in E113 and the Main Office. Students seeking more information should contact Ms. Bosco in E113. Click here for the Classroom Learning Assistant Application. CLAs from last year do not have to apply again. All accepted students will go through a brief training session with Ms. Bosco.
