The MIAA requires physical exams every 13 months to the day of the exam. Students are responsible for ensuring their physical is valid for the duration of the season. The students proof of a physical examination should be completed by the family's physician.

Playing a high school sport requires of students a large commitment. Athletes at the varsity level make a tremendous investment of time, effort, and energy. This commitment comes on top of their primary focus on their academic classes. Students who choose to play a sport should be aware of the expectations of their chosen sport. All fall sports teams begin practice before school begins in August, and at the varsity level, most teams practice on weekends and school vacations. In addition, athletes are often expected to take part in off-season workouts and in-season conditioning sessions. Wachusett Regional High School encourages students to play a sport and get involved in extracurricular activities, but we want everyone to be aware of what is involved. The expectations for each sport can be found on the individual season pages. Parents or athletes who have questions should contact the coach of that sport.
WRHS Athletics Department Policy on Social Media: Students are reminded to use good judgment in their use of all social media. The full Athletic Department policy on Social Networking and Media can be found here.
