Homework Policy: Each student is expected to complete homework, in all world language classes, to reinforce and support classroom learning. Foreign language teachers assign homework in accordance with the World Languages Department Homework Policy. Homework assignments are designed to help the students further develop their language skills and cultural awareness.

The Importance of Speaking Another Language: While the practical benefits of speaking more than one language, in an rea of globalization, are clear and widely noted, science is beginning to find some less obvious benefits, as well.

World Languages National Honor Societies: Each foreign language at WRHS has its own honor society affiliated with the national organizations: Societé Honoraire de Français, Delta Epsilon Phi, and Sociedad honoraria hispánica. Students must meet the criteria established by the national organization to be accepted into their respective honor society. Inductions for the 2017-2018 school year will be held Dec. 5 in the WRHS auditorium.

International Club: This club was established to support foreign exchange students and to offer WRHS students the opportunity to learn about the variety of foreign cultures represented at WRHS. Each year the International Club has a Cultural Café where students can learn about cultures from various countries.

World Languages Course Offerings
