Student Painters!

Marketers (Spring Start):

  • Wage: $17/hr

  • Hours: 5-10 hours per week (depending on your schedule)

  • Incentives: Marketers earn $1 per lead generated, plus 0.5% of the job value if the lead converts to a sale. We also hold bi-weekly challenges with prizes like $20 bonuses, free lunch, gift cards, and other rewards!

  • Requirements: Must be 16 years or older and have reliable transportation.

Painters (Summer Start):

  • Wage: $17/hr (with opportunities for raises and promotions)

  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week

  • Requirements: Must be 18 years or older and have your own vehicle or access to one.

  • Incentives: We create a positive work environment with frequent rewards for top performers, such as free dinners at high-quality restaurants, fun activities like paintball, Six Flags, arcade outings, and more!

Farm Worker - April Farm

April Farm/Rare Succulent

April Farm is a succulent farm dedicated to producing high-quality succulents. We are looking for a hardworking and passionate farm worker who enjoys working with plants and can handle the physical demands of farm work, including working in heat.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily tasks such as thinning, rotating, labeling, transplanting, moving plants, and watering.
  • Hand-mix soil, fill trays and pots for both field and customer sales.
  • Keep the greenhouse and packaging area clean on a daily basis.
  • Learn and familiarize yourself with succulent names and prices to pick plants for orders.
  • Package and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Assist customers with purchases in the greenhouse.
  • Feed and care for farm animals.
  • Clean and operate farm equipment and tools as needed.

Requirements:

  • Passion for plants and enthusiasm for learning about succulents.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle delicate plants.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Previous farm, nursery, or greenhouse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Need to work on Saturday.

Sterling Country Club

Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing the highest quality of food and customer service to our guests.  Potential banquet staffers must be 18 (however I would consider an applicant that is at least 17.5 years old, whose willing to obtain a TIPS Certification). https://www.gettips.com/
 
BANQUET SERVER:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve food and beverages to guests during social events, weddings, and golf tournaments
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Assist with all support preparation, room set up and end of event protocol(s)
  • Create a warm and friendly environment of hospitality
  • Work safely at all times
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities
  • This position is per time, seasonal
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in hospitality, or full-service dining (preferred but is not required)
  • Maintain a positive and professional image and demeanor at all times (proper dress required)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to be on-time and present for scheduled shifts including (some of which may include weekdays, weeknights, weekends and some holidays).

The duties and responsibilities of a Banquet Server are generally to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
 
Here are some examples of the duties and responsibilities of a Banquet Server:
  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
  • Relay food and beverage orders.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in work station areas.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relay important information about meals, allergies or special requests to the manager.
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to requests or concerns.
  • Present in a professional appearance and manner (uniform required).
