School Supplies
Some ideas about what students need to be successful in school and a list of suggested school supplies can be found here.

Class Dues
Class dues for WRHS students are $100 over four years. Students may pay the $100 as a lump sum or may pay $25 yearly. Class dues are used to help defray the costs of class trips, proms, and other class events. Checks should be made payable to WRSD and can be dropped off in the Main Office.
Online payments available here
For more information or to obtain the dues balance for your student, contact Jennifer Collard

College Visits
  • A college visit is considered an excused absence if documentation from the college/university/post grad program is submitted to the upper school office.
  • Acceptable documentation is a letter or email from the college that indicates the name of student, date, time, college/university contact person, and reason for visit (tour, interview, etc).
  • A parent/guardian must report the student absent prior to the college visit.
  • Students can submit a hard copy of the letter/email to Mrs. W. in the upper school office upon returning to school. When documentation is received, the absence will be recorded as excused in power school.
While there isn’t a set number of excused absences for college visits, it’s crucial to prioritize class attendance as missing school can impact a student’s learning. Students are responsible for make-up work and catching up on missed notes. We encourage families to schedule visits on weekends or non-school days whenever possible.

Late Entry/Early Dismissal
Late entry/early dismissal is a privilege reserved for Seniors. Seniors are eligible to apply for this privilege if they do not have significant behavioral infractions from the previous school year. Please complete the application for late entry/early dismissal and return it to the upper school office (B201).
Please note:
  • Your application must be processed in PowerSchool. LE/ED privilege is not active until it has been processed in PowerSchool.
  • Late entry/early dismissal is a privilege and may be suspended or revoked by an administrator for behavioral infractions or issues with school attendance.

Student Parking
Seniors should check the Class of 2027 Google Classroom for the 2026-2027 Senior Parking Application as well as instructions for submitting the application and distribution of parking stickers.
If Seniors opt not to purchase a yearly parking pass, day parking passes may be purchased at a cost of $2 per day through the Main Office. Seniors are limited to 10 day parking passes per quarter. Day parking passes must be purchased at least one day in advance. Spaces are limited and passes are subject to availability.

Classroom Learning Assistants
The Classroom Learning Assistant (CLA) program places Upper School students in Lower School classrooms to assist teachers and students. Students who would like to participate need to have at least one study hall. Students seeking more information should contact Ms. Bosco in E113 or through email: ingrid_bosco@wrsd.net.
CLAs from last year do not have to apply again. All accepted students will go through a brief training session with Ms. Bosco.
